Finland- Aurora Borealis (Nothern Lights)

The bright dancing lights of the aurora are actually collisions between electrically charged particles from the sun that enter the earth's atmosphere. The lights are seen above the magnetic poles of the northern and southern hemispheres. They are known as 'Aurora borealis' in the north and 'Aurora australis' in the south. "When I was a child we used to go out in moonless nights to see the Northern lights. This always happened in winter. we used to put on really warm clothes and go and lay down on the snow in the field near our house. It was wonderful to stay there and stare at the stars and Aurora Borealis. When we see a falling star, we always made a wish. This card makes me think of those happy days" says Akki from Helsinki. Thanks for this unique card and your wonderful thoughts:)
